eBay The forget me nots on the dress top may not be original . I my doll groups ,Most thought they are added on , one suggested may have been a special order. So I just don’t know.If you are interested in her please contact me , I have many more photos and would like to show them,.VINTAGE MADAME ALEXANDER MYSTERY COLLECTION VICTORIAN BRIDE DEBORAH RAREVintage Madame Alexander Mystery collection Victorian Bride Deborah Bride. This beautiful bride belonged to a lady in born in California. She was a collector who had over 180 dolls on her passing. Her Sons split the collection. Finally this doll ended up in the hands of her grandson. I do have her name but do not want to publish it here if anyone would like to know I can supply it. She is the wonderful and rare 1951 Madame Alexander Victorian Deborah Bride. She is one of the hard plastic portrait dolls from the Mystery series of 6 dolls. I also see her referenced as the 1951 fashion Academy Medallion Victorian Bride. Her dress is satin and lace. She has her original veil (see photo) , cameo, flowers, shoes and nylons. I can’t really see but can only imagine the panties are of course original. Her bustle Is amazing. Her bouquet has flowers & ribbons, one of them actually has a little forget me not attached. Her finger nails still have the original pink nail polish. Note the ribbon tied around her ankles must have been put there to hold her near the stand. That is how I received her so I never removed it. She has a few issues. The lace and the bouquet need cleaning. ** SEE last photo. The veil does have holes **. And there is a same nicely done that would be at the top of her head. I will try and show him a photo. Where the stand would have gone around her waist, which now is under the dress, there is a light mark.If you raise her arms, they drop, so they probably need to be reattached, but it doesn’t seem to be necessary. Her hair might need to be redone although from the front it looks really nice. Not sure if the back is supposed to be different. The original owner did not keep her in the cabinet. So she needs a freshening. But no smells no cracks as far as I can see. The item “Vintage Madame Alexander Mystery collection Victorian Bride Deborah RARE” Will ship insured and require signature. No International shipping. (Condition: Pre-Owned)
Note: This item has been sold and is no longer available. This page serves as a historical price reference for Madame Alexander collectors and appraisers.
